WellnessLight KIDS was tested by AIHA Independent Testing Lab for its efficacy in destroying Penicillium corylophilum, a filamentous fungi and a variety of mold commonly found in home interiors.  After sixty (60) minutes of exposure to the WellnessLight KIDS light bulb, the concentration of Penicillium corylophilum in the testing chamber was 4.5E+03 CFU/mL, down from the initial concentration of 2.0E+06 CFU/mL. After sixty (60) minutes of exposure to an equivalent compact fluorescent light bulb without a photocatalytic TiO2 coating, the concentration of Penicillium corylophilum in the testing chamber was 2.5E+04 CFU/mL, down from the initial concentration of 3.8E+06.
